Its only cheating if you get caught, any truth to this statement? I had a guy tell me once when I caught him cheating that he felt the only thing he done wrong was tell me the truth, like that should've made it better. Have you ever had this happen?

That statement he made to you told you what a creep he was............he was not worth the breath to respond to. I have had the experience that some men think it is ok to lie and is expected of them....they too are not worth the breath to waste responding

listen, we all fall for that line at least once in our lives and then we learn and feel idiots. He is talking a load of bollocks and I do believe that is what you are currently in the process of learning - the light bulb in your brain is switching on is it not. We have all been there - the upside is you should not ever fall for this line again and that, is a good thing - so really, you could say, he's done you a favour! Remember the motto: Not all men are annoying, some of them are dead.

That statement is pure baloney. Cheating is cheating, whether you get caught or not. No, I have never had anyone tell me that. And it's probably a good thing, but I have known people with that philosophy. That and 'it's only cheating if YOU do it'.

He and every other man that thinks like him should be taken out back and shot. Ok well maybe that's a little too extreme but so is that statement. Cheating is cheating whether or not you get caught. That's like saying if I walked into a bank and robbed it and never got caught by the cops that I didn't really rob that bank. He was just trying to justify his actions and make himself feel less guilty for what he did to you. Be glad you caught him and found out what an ass he really was before it was too late.

This has never happened to me, but I kind of get it... and I kind of don't. Some folks can't help but cheat. If I'm playing a game and KNOW that I can't get caught cheating... I do it. I totally cheat. Never let me be the banker in Monopoly because I take out loans all the time. I think folks think along these lines when it comes to life and they do whatever they feel they can get away with. You know?
