Can you block yourself from being searched on the internet (i.e. on google so people can't see you on forums you posted in, etc)

No, that's impossible. The only way is to be anonymous, but even that anonymous person will show up somehow. There's not way to block search.

You can google your username with the word answerbag and you will find every thing you type in here.
