On a 1988 silverado the placement of the hearter core is it. Straight or flat or at a angle. Reason no heat. replaced Waterpump thermostat . Rad flush etc. New fan motor.

it actually sits at a slight angle, when you change the motor you can see it, is your engine temp normal? I have an 89 and its always sucked in the heat dept, my problem is a door stuck just haven't fixed it could be the same or your temp actuator isn't working, usually a good shop can check it and not ding you to bad.
