Is it possible for a girl to say she's pregnant 1 week and 2 days after she had sex?? She just had her period a couple days prior to having sex. Would a pregnancy test tell her that she was pregnant 1 week later?

There are some early detection tests that could tell, but if I were you, I'd want to see the test myself!

As far as I know, the earliest detection test doesn't work until five days BEFORE your missed period. Unless she went to a doctor, and they to her she was pregnant, I wouldn't believe it.

Probably not. it takes a little time for the body to start producing the hormone that indicates pregnancy. It usually turns up about 2 weeks after...in very small amounts. Use a condom!

um well probably not because you can only get pregnant while you are ovulating and that is generally around day 14 of the menstration cycle and if it was only a couple days later she probably would not be pregnant. I wouldnt believe it.

Home pregnancy tests can tell up to 5 days before a missed period. Eltinwe has got it right. Go buy a pregnancy test, take it to her, have her take it while you are still there, and have her show you the results. It sounds a little fishy to me... She may say something like, "The test has to be taken when I first wake up." While it is better to take it with the first urine of the day, because there are more hormones in the urine, home pregnancy tests have advanced to be able to detect even a miniscule amount of the hormone in urine. Good luck with that..

I know...this girl is something. Two days after having sex with him she was throwing up and holding her belly like a pregnant woman. She told him when they had sex that she can't have kids (even though she already has one). She had a hickey on her neck when he had sex with her. Her boyfriend just moved out around Thanksgiving..and she told him that he comes over often. Then three days after she had sex with him, she gave her number to another guy at work and told him to call her if he wants to come over...and she's been making sexual advances to him as well. She also was confronted by another for sleeping with her boyfriend and actually got stabbed to it......who does this shit??? Now 1 week and 2 days later she went to my boyfriend and told him she was pregnant and he was the father!!!!

well given all that I said previously, I think that she was already pregnant and is just trying to pin in on my man. I also found out that she is starting to "show"...so what do you think??? Does any of this add up??? Not to me... I am so infuriated !!!!!

I had a similiar experience. My boyfriend and I broke up, and he started sleeping with an ex-girlfriend (who is now married). The woman claimed she and her husband were separated and getting divorced. She then claimed she was pregnant and my ex was the father. But yet, she was seen around town with her husband and drinking, nonetheless. She even went so far as to tell him she had an ultrasound that picked up two heartbeats (but it was too early to get a picture). Anyway, she was finally busted on her lie. But it hard to realize people would be so crazy! So I feel you pain, but try to just get out of all that drama (even though that's easier said than done).

I'm thinking it's highly unlikely since you said she had just had her period a week BEFORE meaning she expelled her egg and now she has to wait a bit before she's ovulating again right?? Even if my science is off you don't start showing at 1 WEEK! You've been had!
