When you use a laptop, do you still use a traditional mouse because you're more comfy using it?

You probably already know this, but they have tiny optical mice, just for notebooks. These work great when you are on the road and stuck in a hotel room, plus they don't take up too much space to transport them.

Nope, I started with a trackball built in to the upper right corner of the screen in the early 90's went through an accupoint eraser thingy in the center of the keyboard and now work with the touchpad on the machine I am on now. I don't buy the machine my company does so I have no choice. I don't go external because at work I need to use the computer and drive at the same time (not to worry, not on public roads) It all comes down to taking the time to get used to the hardware and configuring it so it works for you and your application. On a desktop I am a trackball fan. Why move your whole arm when you can do it with your thumb.

There are some good wireless models for laptops now that I like. I don't like the touchpad or even the keys on my laptop, my fingers are thick:-)

No. I use the sensor pad on the computer. But I should use a traditional mouse, because using the sensor pad is causing my hand, wrist and arm to hurt.

When I do use a laptop I try to use the sensor pad to adapt to useing it.

I find touchpad input not secure enough to work with it, so I rather use the mouse. And for some particular things, rather the keyboard.

Yes, I have a wireless mouse that I use with the laptop.. It is so much more comfortable for me to use.. +

My laptop has that little ball that you put your finger on and it moves the mouse. So, I use that.

I use a laptop all the time, my desktop is packed away collecting dust! I use a mouse whenever it is possible. I can use a touchpad but find the mouse much nicer to use. As for the little ball thing, I hate that! lol

Yeah I cant stand the laptop mice! I use an optical mouse, all the time.

I only use the mouse when I have the desk space to use. When I use it on my lap I use the touchpad. The touchpad on a Macbook is actually quite nice.

touch pads are good just dont forget to tun up the sensitivity all the way

no it drives me demented they already have a touch pad, my friends always plug in a mouse for me on their laptops but i get confused having 2 mice its just not right
