To protect your own life or the life of someone else. Like you could probably lie and tell a guy his girlfriend wasn't there if he was coming to beat her or you!

Lying is an evil. As always, the only justification for an evil is to prevent a greater evil. Lying to someone who intends violence about the whereabouts of their target is probably justifiable. At some point below this, a lie ceases to be justifiable; where you draw that line is a measure of your honesty.

Yes, lying is always wrong. When a lie is a lesser of evils, it may be the best choice, but it will still be a lie, and therefore wrong. In a study of "alignments" a person can be any of "Lawfull, Chaotic, or Neutral" combined with "Good, Evil, or Neutral" ... although it is best to try to always be both Lawfull & Good, sometimes being Chaotic & Good will result in a greater good being done by disreguarding truth laws and telling a lie to achieve a good thing.

No, lying is not always wrong. because at some circumstances, lying can help our life and the others, for example, when we are facing robbery then we have to lie in order to protect our life and properties.

I generally will only lie to save from hurting someones feelings.
