Just when I thought I had seen it all. Today I saw a man driving with a LARGE dog on his lap and talking on a cell phone at the same time. What is it with people? Do they think that they are indestructible?

I believe until reality hits you up side the head some people do think they are indestructible.

I don't know about where you live, but in a lot of cities in the states, they are passing laws that you have to use hands-free head sets (I have a blue tooth head set now) or not use them at all. I'm not sure about the dogs in your lap...but I saw a gal today with a Westie in her lap, and she was also talking on a cell phone and not paying attention. If I hadn't seen her, she would have hit me.

I think it is incredible how many people are willing to put the rest of the people on the road in danger. I also wonder what they think is going to happen to the dog if they get in an accident. Out pops the air bag, and the dog is not likely to survive. I believe in using dog restraints in the back seat. I also believe I AM destructible, and drive accordingly.

I think that it is just simply that some folks have stopped thinking altogether when they get behind the wheel. I saw someone reading a novel while driving last year! I was just at a loss for words.

I see people reading while driving. It's bad enuf they are taking their own lives in their hands what about the innocent people they run into.

Unfortunately these people often don't learn untill they'er in an accident.
