  • Sure. You can quit and call her all of the nasty names you want, but then you will be unemployed and your ex-boss will probably see your outburst as proof that you are a nut case. She won't 'hear' what you are saying. Personally, I think you would be better off out of there and in another job, but you need to be realistic about what you will accomplish by such a drastic move.
  • If I were you, I wouldn't quit. If she is mean and nasty, she will probably loose her job soon, and then you could be in line for a promotion!
  • Tell your boss' boss? One time, my friend was in this situation or something similar to this situation and she totally lost it. She even swore at the person and threatened that she was going to quit and said that they shouldn't treat the other person like crap and stuff like that. The person she yelled at ended up taking her seriously and tried to convince her to stay because she was one of the best employees they had. She was so mad, she stormed out of the place. They learned their lesson. I'm pretty sure she ended up going back. I don't know if this would work with your situation, but it might if you are a good employee and they would lose someone that helps their business a TON. Why would your boss get mad at you for being sick anyway? You know you and your friend have rights as workers, right? If I ever worked somewhere and my boss treated me like that, I don't think I would be there anymore.
  • Do NOT let any boss treat you badly. You stand up for yourself. He was totally wrong! You will be truly respected if you stand up for your rights.
