  • Large, noisy, full of traffic . Loud and exciting at times but has its great points.
  • Small community where everyone knew your business, I think my graduating class had about 50 people in it :)
  • One stoplight, cornfields, cowshit, alcohol. That about sums it up.
  • Very small....mountain country town. The kind you read about in old books. It is the best place I could have grown up in.
  • My hometown is Biloxi, Mississippi. It pretty much got destroyed during hurricane Katrina, but I wasn't living there when it happened. It's still kind of depressing though.
  • It's the 15th largest city in the nation, right behind San Francisco. It's the home of the Buckeyes, and has the largest College campus in the nation as well. There are a lot of bad drivers here and a bunch of p*ssed off people, but overall it's not too bad around here.
  • Small town in the Naugatuck Valley of Connecticut. The population is just over 5,000 and growing. It was originally a Native American camping ground. Settled in 1678. Our principle industries include agriculture, warehouse storage and manufacture of plastic molding and small hardware. The first friction matches were made here in 1834 by Thomas Sanford, who later sold his "recipe" for $10.00. The town was named after Beacon Hill, which historians say was a lookout for colonists to signal the movements of hostile Native Americans.
  • My home town is Romford in East London. It is a market town and it's rights to hold a market were granted and protected by the Magna Carta. From Romford it takes only 25 minutes to get into the City of London, 15 minutes to get to the Countryside (the Olympics mountain biking will be held in a local park in 2012) and 40 minutes to get to the sea.
  • lock haven pa is where i grew up. was glad to get away when i did.
  • We don't get any serious problems, everybody just keeps to themselves. I don't socialise much with neighbours, except other dog owners. And if I wanna do something exciting there's easy access to the city.
  • Big enough that you can get a reprieve from those you don't want to see, yet small enough to know where to find those you want to see. Brevard is the fastest growing county in the US for 8 or 9 years. We are growing like a weed. 15'000 new families move into my state every year. The economy of my county reaps the benefit of nearly all of them. HUGE variety of all walks of life. I love learning about all cultures. If I could describe my county in one word it would be 'diverse'. I find that most people in this area are open about differences and not ashamed or bitter about them. We do have a lot of people who are extreme right and left though, but not too many. I live 4 miles from the beach and 25 miles from Kennedy Space Center. I see, hear and feel every launch that goes up. Personally, I am not a big supporter of the Space Program, but I am thankful that I have the opportunity to see things that others can only see on TV. I also live in a primarily RED state. Alot of rich republicans transplant here, especially since I live near an Air Force bace (Patrick AFB) NOTHING for young teens to do. There are a lot of drugs around here. 90% of the people I know have drug issues or their children do. The weather is stifling. We get 2 or 3 months out of the year when you can go outside and not feel like you need a shower. I call this period (December-March) Spring. The other 9 months of the year I dread checking the mail. Our 'wind chill factor' is around 90*, NOT an exaggeration. 1 1/2 seasons: Summer & Spring. No fall colors. HATED!! Enough about MY town...
  • My hometown was a booming little town when I was growing up. It had a gas station, grocery, P.O. and a hardware. LOL (If you blink your eyes driving through, you will miss it) They are all gone now. Even the house I grew up in, is now the city park.
