  • You can use a zip file.
  • Type this into Google: (shrink video file freeware)without the () then rar file them you can get rar programs on google as well freeware, most zip files are rejected via mail programs...... there are too many for me to recommend...hope this helps :o)
  • Depending on the format the video file is in, it may already be fairly compressed. But even if it isn't, compressing the file isn't going to achieve so much shrinkage that emailing it over dial-up will be much faster. That may be your only online option, but the whole time you're sending the file, you'll be hard pressed to get anything else done online because your bandwidth will be maxed out. Plus, there's the ever present risk of the email server (which is processing your huge email) to time out and quit in mid-send. Have you considered burning the video to CD-ROM or DVD-ROM and mailing it through the postal system?
