I have one that equals about 20. Let me explain that. It is a pain in the (place where sun doesn't shine) to remember all the passwords you could have. I read an article and it gave a great idea on simplifying this task. I learned this from the "Digital Godess" Kim Komando. you pick a password that goes with a crazy sentence you can remember easily like: ":knock twice before you open the door". Best to use letters and numders so this could equal a password like "k2b4uotd" at least 8 characters and both numbers and letters and easy to remember. You don't want to use the same one for everything but if you use the main one plus a little extra for distinguishing each place its used you can have safe secure easy to remember passwords. Example: password for the this site would be: "k2b4uotdAB". Just added the "AB" for abreviation of the "Answer Bag" web site. Capatalized it for extra security. A simple way to have multiple passwords and still easy to remember them all. Hope this helps.

In total, I think it's about 10 or so. Some websites and all that use a shared password sometimes, so that number could be much higher.

At least five for work purposes. I know of a co-worker who holds the record for having to need their password reset. Maybe another five or so for email/games/other personal use.

2 I try to use the same password for most of the websites I need to use a password. Only for my banking do I have a different password.
