  • No not true read The New Testament.
  • False. In fact Judaism doesn't recognize Jesus as the Messiah, so that would be a step in the opposite direction.
  • No, he was a false prophet.
  • Fine. Since Religion is OPINION and I am being down rated for that, I remove my post.
  • 1) Yes. Same thing if one wants to follow Einstein. ;-) 2) No, if someone wants to follow the Christ, he has to become a Christ.

  • Yes, but his own denied him , that is why HE wept for Jerusalem. Paul was also a Jew who thought he was doing right until Christ appeared to him and asked why he was persecuting HIM! Paul converted !!!!
  • No. The book of Galatians deals with this issue. Basically the church in Galatia was being pressured by people who said "to be Christian, you had to put your trust in Christ and follow the Jewish Law. What Paul, the author of the book, says is that to be a Christian, all you need to do is put your trust alone in Christ alone. Adding anything else onto this, (ie. trust in Jesus PLUS ...) cuts you off from Christ. (e.g Galatians 2:15-16; 5:1-4). I love Paul's words in 6:14, "But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world" (ESV)
  • So was Saul or Paul, a DEVOUT Jew, until Christ appeared to HIM. Jesus own people, the Jews REJECTED HIM.The Jewish High Priests wanted HIM killed because they would lose POWER because the people were believing in HIM. Read . It is right there.
  • FALSE. Apostle Paul was a DEVOUT JEW too, thinking he was doing good persecuting Christians, until Jesus appeared to him and he CONVERTED!!!!! The Day of Pentecost opened SALVATION to ALL. It was no longer to just God's chosen(Jews, Israel), it was Jew and Gentile from then on.
  • John 1-st Letter, Cap 4, Verse 8 It's all you need to know to begin with. "Whoever does not love has never known God, for God is love." This is my translation, I am romanian, I do not own an English edition of the Bible. There are MANY angles, points of view and directions from wich you can view the Bible. The vengeful God, The pissed Creator, the, the, the... Only once you have renounced the notion that love is just a bungle of human emotions or some hormonal reaction and, just like a child, start learning anew about the nature of love you will... I've never been a worshipper. I allways followed provable truth. Critical analysis, the open mind have been my ways. One day, wanting to understand, I opened my heart. No, not blindly, like so many fanatical sheep. Trusting, yes, careful an analytical. I had one question: what is God? What substance is He made of? Researching the Bible I found the verse in John's (or Joan?) First letter, after the four scriptures. So, how do you verify love? Well, love is what one can only feel. So, my wish and desire became simple. I want to feel God. No, not understand or answer questions. If God is love, I want to feel Him. And, being open and carrying that wish in my heart, one day in the park, while contemplating nature, it happened. Have you ever felt the infinite? I did. How does it feel? You feel infinite. Those of you that are parents will understand this. You feel being loved with the exact feeling that a parent has for a baby. There's no sex in it, just love. After that, the entire Bible became as simple as Little Red Riding Hood. All of it, from the miracles and glory all the way to the carnage. When you hold that feeling in your heart, it translates the Bible to your mind. Knowing all this from personal experience I can say simply: It doesn't matter if you're a Star Trek Klingon, If you want to follow Jesus, all you need to do is simply trust Him.
