I found a $20 bill at a concert. Dozens of people just walked right by without noticing it, so finders keepers.

I have found a wallet with $8000 in it and a number of ladies purse thingies with money ranging from $60 to $1200 and I have found jewelery ... and no I have never thought I would keep it ... my first thought has always been 'shit some poor bugger has lost it' and I always tried to find the owner and so far I always have ... and yes I did take a couple of rewards .... 2 cups of coffee and a cuddle from a 81 year old lady

My wife found about $250.00 in a bank envelope at a store parking lot and she took it home and told me, but how were we to ever find out who it belonged to ..so we kept it. I did feel for the person that lost it, but what can I say?

I never really find any decent amount of cash. Just coins here and there.
