  • Great question. For me it is having seen and been apart of His grace a forgiveness. I have experienced it first hand on many occasions.
  • I know there is a god. Because if you do not notice, The more we shut him out of our lifes, the more corrupted the country gets. Back in the days when parents made their children go to church(even just on holidays and sundays) the streets were much safer. I think that is gods doing. Our society tries its hardest to shut god out of our everydays lives. so god is just taking up our offer and keeping his distance.
  • I do not fully accept evolution. A 'God' is an alternative.
  • This may sound silly but I don't care. I was raised catholic, but went through a time in my life when I doubted everything. I was miserable, and I wondered if there was a God, how it was possible, that it just didn't make any sense. Then I met my husband, Ray. I know without a doubt that we were meant to be together. If we were meant to be together someone must have planned it. I don't doubt that there is a God anymore.
  • I am spiritual but I do not believe in a god. I do not however ask people who do to stop if this gives them peace. But since you asked... I stopped believing... When I realized that both sides were asking the same god for victory. One side wins. Would a god pick sides? When I realized that a 'loving god' would not allow all the hurt and pain, and a 'vengeful god' would not allow all the beauty. When I first read about the Crusades. When someone told me that I cause my own pain but only god can cause joy. The first time I heard a minister actually say he thanked god that he knew the world was only 3000 years old. When I actually read the bible.
  • With different things that went on in my life just knew i could not have done it by myself sometimes. But, somehow things would work out. Thanks, GOD!
  • You can never prove the existence of God to someone else, but God can prove Himself to you.
  • I don't know. I don't really follow any religion. I believe that God exists, but that I'm not really supposed to understand it all. Just a gut feeling I guess.
  • I don't beleive in god. It wasn't a decision any more than it was a decision to believe that the carpet is beige.
  • well if there was no God, then how could life have started?
