Some user flagging a question doesn't get it rejected - somebody from the staff (or a Community Leader) has to confirm it. I think you just came across one individual who'd had a sense of humour by-pass who was supported by an equally mirthless official. Quite honestly I despair when all kinds of explicit questions and answers are deemed acceptable, yet something as innocent as your question is rejected. At least it was a question and not a policy statement for a lobbying group, as so many others are. Go to Feedback and appeal this ludicrous decision.

I certainly didn't see it as offensive, I won!! But seriously, I agree with Brian, I have seen far worse here that others defend , maybe its not what you know but who?

I found also the question so interesting as to give it two answers. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/510087 Anyhow, I suppose the question could also have been rejected because of this very rule: "asking for and/or promising points in questions is a violation of Answerbag policy" http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/175023 (But I did not flag it)
