  • How in the world would someone be able to consume 3 complete meals within 3 hours? This has to be a disorder.
  • If you're binging during or after those meals, yes. Additionally, it may effect your metabolism differently than someone who distributes their meals more equally throughout the day (the body is not sure when it will get its next meal). It could also be considered a disorder if you have starved yourself voluntary and suffer from symptoms of excessive weight loss or low body weight (Anorexia). Binging and/or purging associated with the meals are another type of disorder (bulimia). If you don't fall into those categories, I should think it's ok for short periods of time (less than a few weeks.). But I'm not a doctor, so consult your physician to get his/her advice on it as well. References: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulimia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anorexia_nervosa
  • I don't know. The Romans used to eat one huge meal a day. I believe it was 5 courses and I don't know how long it would have taken to eat them. It was just their lifestyle so we couldn't accuse them of having an eating disorder. So, if anyone now ate the equivalent of their three meals in one sitting but nothing else for the rest of the day, then that could be their lifestyle.
  • The pulse rate in a new born baby is about 140 beats per minute. This pulse rate gradually reduces during the teenage period and settles down to it's stable value of 76 beats per minute after the age of 24 years. Different sects in the world have different criteria to declare a person to become a youth. The Indian tradition says that a person becomes a youth on his 25th birth day, taking the stable heat beat value into consideration.
