Do banner ads get your attention? Have you ever intentionally clicked on one, or even just taken note of the brand or offer for future reference?

YES...not only the ads get my attention but they get on my nerves on my home page,but no I did not intentionally click on one but accidently...and a message said that it did not include my area.

At first they were incredibly annoying. Now I just ignore them completely. I would never click on one.

Depends what the ad is offering. When I visit game sites [ex. neopets] or MMORPG game guides, they sometimes would have an interesting ad for, say, a private server, and I'd click on it and find out more about it. I'm never worried about stuff getting into my computer since I'm using Firefox, AVG AV, Spybot and Ad-aware.
