Firstly, I hate to be argumentative, but in my opinion this is not the question of the year! As for the actual question, no. Age is irrelevant so I can't see any need for it to be displayed. I'm 30, in case you are wondering. How could you be certain that a persons stated age is their actual age anyway?

I don't really see why. I'm 16, even though people could quite easily look at my profile and realise that, i don't want to have to answer questions stating I'm 16. Personally, I'm not bothered what age anyone is. It is a bit irritating when you want to know more about someone and it doesn't tell you how old they are in their profile but still. I kind of disagree.

i suggested the age for one main reason.many times questions were posted and baggers will ask for age before answering the question,very often those question goes unanswered.
