  • No, not at all. If it weren't for third party people to try and shake things up, then the political thought process would be way more retarded (not mentally) than it is today. In every society the minority voice needs to be heard because one day their adherents may come out en masse one day and assert themselves and throw down old thought processes and enact new modes of thought. It already has happened in the workplace. 2008 promises to be a very interesting year and I predict nothing will go down as planned. This is by far the most interesting year of the 21st century by a long shot.
  • I think it is just an excuse for left wing politicians to deny that they are left wingers. The Third Way crowd seems to continue on the same path that their leftist counterparts have always taken. Leftwingers have always tried to change their names in the hope that people whould not know what they were. Communists became socialists who became liberals who became third way who became progressives. I am a rightwinger and a conservatives, I have no problem being up front with what I believe and I have no need to change the terminlogy for what I believe in.
