  • When I had my ear pierced (as well as my belly button and one nipple that I got the other day) Generally they used a simple device that shot a "pin" type thing into the area that had a local pain killer that numbed the area. It didn't hurt much, but the after effects of having to deal with side effects and waiting was a major pain.
  • It's not too bad pain wise... it's a slight pinch, but you ears DO feel like they're on fire afterwards... they just feel really. Advice? um... just make sure to clean the piercing, and don't take the earring out until it's completely healed... when you clean it make sure to have clean hands, or just use Q-tips around the area... good luck!!
