I think sometimes when you're younger you mistake feelings of lust or infatuation for love, but I feel like you're never too young to be in love if you really understand what it is and how it feels. Just make sure you can tell the difference :)

everyones opinion of what love is or what love feels like is totally different. if you feel strongly for someone dont let someone else tell you this is wrong. i was married at 19 i dont think it was too young, i knew in my heart it was love and he loved me and thats all that we cared about. if you were 13 or 14 and tried to say it was love then it may be too young as you havent experienced enough or know enough about love to determine love from lust.

It really depends on your intelligence. Obviously someone who is stupid won't really know what love is compared to someone who is smart enough to know what love is. Of course some people know a lot about some things but are stupid about all other things. By seventeen you definately have a good understanding of what love is, so don't be swayed by what the ignorants think they know.

NO, 17 is not too young. Ask yourself these questions & if they are all yes then chances are you're in love. Would you stick by him through thick & thin, even if he was broke? Would you be willing to change his diaper in 60 years? Could you put up with his meddling family? Would he be a great dad to your kids, even if you divorced?
