What would be your ideal number of children, sexes and order and spacing of birth? (example: 3 kids: one boy and a set of twin girls. The boy older than the twins by five years)

With the current global population at 6,446,131,400 (and growing) The best number is 1 - no make that zero. As an aside, considering that I have a genetic disorder that can be passed down to offspring, my having children means I would pass on that genetically linked disorder. Since I am not selfish and really do care for the future, I opt out of the genetic matrices of humanity so no one else will have to suffer from X Genetically linked disorders (fill in the X yourself). Not that I don't like children (or people) but come on there is too much humanity and a great deal of fixing we need to do before we can honestly bring one more hungry mouth into the world. Don't cha think?

My ideal dream would be to first: have a set of twin girls, i've got names and everything, then two years later, have another girl, then a year later have a boy. After that boy turns 5, i would then try to adopt a girl, so that makes five.

I don't have an ideal number of children. I grew up and am still growing up in a large family. My siblings are all different ages, but none of us are more than 2 years apart. I like it that way.. so I hope my children, if I ever have any, are close together in age. I'm not going to even bother picking which sex I would prefer since there are advantages and disadvantages to having both boys and girls! Plus, it's not like you can choose anyway. It's fun to guess, though. :)

4 kids (maybe more...yes I am crazy)- don't care what the sex of the first is, then I'd say about 3 years later a set of twins (boy and girl), then another 2-3 years later have one the opposite sex of whatever the first child was.

I was obsessed with having two boys and then a girl. The boys spaced apart by only a year or two and the girl a little younger. Now that I am actually pregnant, I couldn't care less as long as he or she is healthy and happy.

1 boy, then like...3-4 years later, i would want a set of twins, 1 boy, 1 girl, then another girl like...2-3 years later. after that, if i had more, i'd prefer more boys, but it wouldn't really matter.

i think the ideal children would be 2 older boy and younger girl... but only with a year or so apart. or how my god family is... boy then girl (2yrs younger) then another girl 8 or 9 years younger and a baby boy infant

Children are a full time job. I have two, had my first when I was 24. I am now 33. I am not with their father. If I could do it again, I would be well informed. My boys are 2 years apart, I would not trade them for the world. But... Now I have 3 full time jobs. Make wise choices.

The hubby and I want at least four. Ideally, I'd like our first to be a boy (I'll let you know as soon as I do!), two girls next, and a younger boy. We have our names picked out already, too ^_^ Of course, I'll take whatever God gives me ^_^

I would like 10 children. I love kids. First I would like a boy (John Michael). Then a year later, a girl(Payson Marie). two years later I would twin girls, (Bailey Elizabeth and Emma Teresa). Two more years later I would like a boy (Curtis Bernard) and another year later a girl, (Alexis Nicole). One years later I would like a girl, (Selena Hope). Two years later I would like twins. I know John will be like 12 by the time a get to Charisma but I love big family's and yes I do have too much time on my hands. Oh and just in case in really care... John is after my grandpa, Teresa is my grandma's name, Bernard is my mother's maiden name and I love the name Bernard too. Doreen is my mother's name, and Gerald Mark is my father's name.
