  • One side is the other is saying to the crazy gang "get real and release her!"
  • I think the whole thing is incredible. In my mind it just goes to the point of how ridiculous Islamic law is. They want to put to death a lady for allowing a teddy bear to be named Muhammed? Unfreakingreal. A lady who was there to help them, a lady who sacraficed much of here own life to try and help people who needed it. This is just disgusting. I am praying for Gillian Gibbons.
  • And people say religion doesn't cause violence :) May I call this, exhibit A for the prosecution?
  • It truly is the epitome of fanaticism proving that it is an anachronism in today's modern age and hopefully there is a dwindling mass of adherents to such radical religious ideologies that such absurd callings for death will in the hopefully near future be seen with much derision as inhuman attempts for ridiculous justice that clearly violate the human rights of the persons in question. This strikes me as savage and Neanderthal mentality at its basest.
  • Personally I think the Islamic extremeists are the ones blowing this all out of proportion. Before I get a backlash of comments from those who are Muslim or sympathize with their side let me say this. If someone decided they wanted to name their teddy bear Jesus I would not be offended in the least bit. First off let's remember here that it was the children's idea to name the teddybear Muhammed not Gillian Gibbons idea. Secondly I think Muslims should learn to stop being so sensetive when it comes to the Prophet Muhammed. You don't see Christians going around ready to chop peoples heads off for making fun of Jesus. I pray that common sense will prevail in this matter and Gillian will be released and all charges against her dropped.
