It's pouring rain, im at work and so relaxed; does rain have this same effect on you?

Not in my job! I work for the phone company, in the repair department. Rain means customers out of service. Since the ones I deal with are very huge, high dollar customers, it raises my stress level significantly.

The sounds of pouring rain will almost send me to sleep - add in the fresh smells from a rain storm and I am practically in a coma of relaxation...then add in the feelings of wet and cool...especially after a warm period and .... zzzzzzzzzzzz This would have to be one of my all time NO 1 favs....

Yes, it does. I notice that I sleep better and don't wake up during the night when it is raining when I can hear it.
