  • It's natural to need time apart. It is actually healthy and good for the relationship, so don't be offended. Enjoy your "me" time!
  • while you have nothing to do,those kinds of feelings can be very overwhelming.
  • No! I think it's healthy to spend some time away from each other. I think it means he's a very secure person. :)
  • No. At least not as long as it's "once in a while". If I am with my wife too much without a little "me time, I tend to get claustrophobic. Then I start to resent her. Then I want to fight like a cornered rat. Then I just want to die just for a chance to escape. If you are offended, then I want you to literally glue yourself to a person. Try going through a door too narrow for two people abreast. Try sitting down. Try having all of you motions hindered. And going to the bathroom...
  • Hm, maybe you could find other things to do? - like jogging, exercise, hobbies you like - & get yourself busy - so he'll miss you!!!!! (& want to get you two to be together!!) It's good to have some apart time... BUT if this guy is anything like the ex bf I described in another thread of yours - it might also mean: keep your eyes open! The mentioned bf didn't want me to come or come along to a friend he was supposed to be getting 'CDs' from! Yeah, big question, why!! (LSD, not CDs!!) Just plug in your 'bullshit detector' & play innocent until you find out that he's either innocent & just wants some apart time, or that there is a legitimate concern.
  • It's completely normal, if I was with my girlfriend all the time I would be the next OJ.
  • No. My boyfriend feels like I don't want to see him a lot more than once in a while, but it's really not my fault. I sure hope he's not offended. That's why my answer to you is "No" unless you actually have a good enough reason.
  • Yes...yes... and yes :-)
  • no sometimes you just need time to be by yourself or with a different people.
