  • I would try to do a good job of explaining it from a company-centric perspective, e.g. "I felt that the company needed strong leadership from my manager. It was frustrating for me to see opportunities lost and unnecessary problems mounting for our group. Rather than trying to bypass the ineffective manager, I felt it was more honorable to step down and move on."
