  • Try dusting the leaves.
  • I know nothing about the spots, but you can bring back some of the shine by taking a soft cloth and gently polishing the leaves. I suspect that plant nurseries actually apply a carnauba type of wax to some plants when they send them to stores and that's why they are shiny.
  • While still warm outside, I washed the leaves, top and bottom, with regular dishsoap and water. Left it on to drip dry. It was more to help get rid of the little bugs that were eating the leaves. It worked, as well as left them beautifully shiny green!
