On the contrary, I wanted to answer some questions honestly, but I avoided doing so because some people might not like it. The truth hurts sometimes, you know.

Yep. When the answer to a question requires naming a particular bagger. In that case, I just won't answer the question. Most of the time.
-
Yes it happens all the time. Particularly with religious questions and questions about politics. Answering these questions tends to lead to many unhappy comment exchanges, attacks, and just general nastiness. Therefore, I choose not to answer them.

There have been a few religious questions I wanted to answer but I have learned the hard way that it's not worth the crappy feedback I get.

I am avoiding quite a few lately because I don't need the grief and I am trying to avoid my posse of trolls.

oh yes....All the time. I know what I want to say, but once I type it out and re-read it, it doesn't sound like what I want to say, so I just end up dumping it and moving on to the next question.

I'm never afraid of being honest. I'm more afraid of submitting an uninteresting answer. I've given up on so many answers just because I thought that they were boring and I couldn't think of a way to remedy it.
-
Some I don't answer because I'm starting to get to know you guys. I'm only comfable answer somethings around strangers. Same with asking questions. I wont ask some things because you're not all strangers. Kinda sucks actually.
-
I just read a question that I thought I could contribute positively too, but after reading the judgmental comments from the asker to the responders, I decided not to. Oh well.
-
Nope, I always speak my mind, if I get D/r'd, so be it.

Some questions I know are troll bait, so I just do my part by uprating my braver homies to try to offset their downrates somewhat
