  • Well, I guess they're human under those uniforms. As long as they were off duty..it IS Mardi Gras, afterall.
  • Yes because this could lead to lawsuits i would think - all it takes is one acusation
  • Nah, cops are people too, let them have their fun.
  • only if that is considered illegal.
  • If they're on duty, then YES.
  • ABSOLUTELY. THE POLICE ARE SUPPOSED TO SET AN EXAMPLE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. THEY MAKE ARRESTS FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE AND EXIBITIONISTS WHO ARE NOT SHOWING OFF AS MUCH AS THEY ARE. THEY SHOULD ALL BE ARRESTED.
  • Yes, if they were supposed to be on duty. If they weren't... I don't know, because they're supposed to be role models for the community they serve. It kinda comes with the badge and gun. Then again, they're human. Then, then, again, if they want to be treated like humans they shouldn't act higher and mightier than others without special authorization for misc. things from the Government and such.
  • I am really split 50/50 with my answer. I agree officers have to have their time to relax. Would this event had less notice, if it had occurred in another country, like Italy? Or, is it because it occurred in New Orleans? This may have not been the best choice "to let their hair down". some one is always watching. Do the actions of the officers violate the rule of Conduct Unbecoming An Officer? Like i said, i am split 50/50 in my answer. What if the officers lived in a non-gambling state, but went to a neighboring gambling state to gamble? is there really a difference here? After all, officers are humans just like everyone else.
  • THE COPS IN MY TOWN WHICH I HAVE LIVE OVER 40 YEARS AND KNOW MOST OF THEM ARE THE MOST DIRTY COPS I EVER HEARD OF. I DON'T TRUST COPS, SURE THERE ARE SOME THAT SOULDN'T BE LUMPED INTO MY TOWNS POLICE FORCE. ALOT OF GOOD ONES OUT THERE PROTECTING US, BUT NOT HERE
  • only if they were on duty. what they do with their own time is their buisness, and i think that it it was on their own time, thats fine.
