Brilliant! I believe that is a way of wording the Second Law of Thermodynamics! Absolutely it should cool down, so in this increasingly secular world it should be a lovely temperature for when athiests like me arrive!

As phrased, this question isn't really answerable. You'd need to know the details about whatever's making hell so hot, to be able to figure out how many bodies it would take to cool hell down to room temperature. For example, if hell had a million bonfires, each one the size of Jupiter, sitting next to half-mile wide streams of molten lava, there may never be enough bodies for the job. And anyway...where are the bodies coming from? Last I checked, people headed for hell (or heaven, for that matter) were leaving their bodies (or whatever remained) here on Earth:) Alatea, my friend! To get an answer for you, we probably need to track down whoever asked this question. In the meantime, my guess is - one presumed characteristic of hell is the scorching temp, which is more physical than emotional, or mental. Hot and cool air seems to be the element on which the questioner focused. Of course, anyone walking around in a hotbed of heat would probably be freaking out beyond belief, but in general, temperature has a closer association with physical than mental. Wondering about the physical properties of hell doesn't mean that the Hades-in-the-Head version is non-existent - it's just not relevant to this particular query, that's all. But, it wasn't my question, so that's only speculation.

The Lord Jesus said in Mark 9:43-44 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

No, the temperature of hell is maintained by the burning of fosil fuels. However, when Al Gore dies, he's going to change all that. (Sorry, it's late, I must be getting slap-happy.)

No, hell is not a physical place. therefore physics do not apply. anyways, its LIKE a lake a fire and not a lake of fire. also, it's not a lake of hotness. =)

If God can make a place of etearnal you think he can keep it hot. not to mention you don't know how hot it is or how big it is so that is a very inaccurate comment. Plus hell is a place of seperation from every one and every thing else.
