He imports them from China and into the North Pole. His elves don't actually make the gifts, they just sit in a warehouse all day and wrap the gifts, label them, print out maps from mapquest.com...

Let me break this to you gently - SANTA IS NOT REAL. Sorry. If he was, he'd probably outsource anyway because the elves would have a union, would strike periodically for better wages, fewer hours and a better working environment - The north pole is COLD, and it's all about the bottom line anymore. So the toys would be made in China anyway...or India...or....

Because Santa was a wise investor and put all his money in China.........All he has to do now is just deliver. His elves are pissed though.

see he contacted this out to a U.S. company and so to wring as much profits out of it as it can ...decided to have the toys made in the cheapest wage paying country that it could find!

Well, because the North Pole is actually an International Territory. So, sometimes the toys are labeled with different countries to represent the multinational, inclusive nature of the North Pole. Some say "Made In China", others say "Made in Korea", and still others say Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.
