  • Where the boss's nephew got promoted over the person who really deserved it just because he was the boss's nephew. Actually , he couldn't do the job at all and lost the company business. And no, I was not the one who deserved the promotion.
  • Just recently I was past over for a directorship. I found out that the one who was hired was really friendly with the boss and virtually has no supervision skills. So it was really convenient that no supervision questions for a director was asked during the interview. That just sucks.
  • i was at a company where i was let go, but before i was let go, they had me train another lady for about 3 months to fill my shoes, after they let me go they went ahead and hired another peron all together to do the job, someone with no training or experience, and the lady who trained for it, was very upset she griped to me that she could not believe that she did not get my job.
  • The president of the company I worked for grew it from one small office in a medium-sized government contractor, to a huge company with many offices, mostly through acquiring smaller companies. The president of one of those smaller acquired companies convinced the board of directors that he could do a better job then she could. She was let go, he took over. He was a total moron. Most of the middle management (including me) quit, and the company folded a few months later.
