I certainly do. All the time.
-
Yes, on very rare occasions I do. But I don't think I'd do it around people I don't know, or openly in public.
-
No, I don't. "Gay" does not mean stupid, it either means happy or homosexual. I don't use it for anything else.
-
No but I no longer use it for happy and bright!

I must admit that sometimes I do use the word in that way, merely because I've spent a lot of time around my brother and his friends, and they use it like it's going out of style. At better times, I prefer to use the word "lame."

In the arts and entertainment industry in which I worked in for many year, there is many gay people, male and female. I have known and know gay people and never use the term in a negative sense. Why judge someone in a negative way for their lifestyle even if you disagree or agree with it.
-
This is the first time I heard about this. I've never heard someone use the word "gay" to describe something a person dislikes, ever. Must be a new thing.
-
I am ashamed to admit that yes, I do. It's a force of habit carried over from the days of middle school when everyone used "gay" to mean "lame" or "stupid". Since becoming friends with many members of the gay community in college and beyond, I have made an effort to refrain from using "gay" (or "queer") in that derogatory sense, but it still slips out every now and then, to my discredit.

lol yea all the time...."thats so gay..." lol i talk how i talk. I dont mean it to offend anyone. Ive got many gay friends, men and women, and if you have a problem with how i talk then thats your fault lol
