No the mothers will never give up. They have to have get everything they think the children need. They NEED to get it and if they don't, they keep trying.
-
Because at some point the children grow up, and become responsible for their own lives.

Everyone's view of what having the whole world is different. While the child is young, the mother points the child in the path she would like him/her to follow. As they age and become independent, the child's view of what future they want takes on a similar shape as the parent, but changes a bit. When the child is finally independent, they will follow their own course. With so many different paths to take in this world, no one can realistically have the Whole World. If we desire having everything, we will always be disappointed. No parent ever gives up, they always have hope that their child will make good choices. They eventually change their goals... eventually a parent hopes that the child makes the choices that will make them happy and fulfilled, in turn making the parents happy and fulfilled. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule. Some things that make some people happy come at the expense of the happiness of others, such as theft, murder, etc.
