  • The above is good advice. Get a thermometer to check your temperature, something that you should do so that you are sure to put in the food when the oven has come to temp. Sometimes it takes an oven 20 minutes to reach the right temperature. I have a thermometer in each of my ovens and don't place anything in there until it says the right temp. It really makes a difference, especially in baking breads and bakery items. Plus, has this always been the case? Do you live at some high elevation?
