I think it's terrible and can't understand how they sleep at night but I still more concern about abusing children.

I think they should be punished in the same manner as however they abused the animal. Tie them down or drug them or somehow make it so they are helpless and defenseless and then let them see how it feels. These people are no better than people who would abuse children. And I have heard that people who abuse animals also have a tendancy to be child abusers. Something about getting a kick out of having the power over them.

Very little, they are sick and cruel. They should get a dose of their cruelity.

They are low-lifes. They have no respect. They probably treat the people around them with disregard as well. It makes me incredibly angry to know people can deliberately torture and hurt animals and think "oh well". Watch the documentary "Earthlings"....about animal abuse...you will see how cruel people can be.

They are sick and loathesome creatures. And even more frightening, it's been proven with most serial killers that they abused/killed animals when they were younger. Anyone who hurts/kills animals will often do the same to people.

if any animal is killed humanely - meaning that they experience as little pain as possible [concerning food and stuff] then that's not abuse in my opinion now for those who beat their animals or pets or torture them before they die, i think it's quite disgusting and i hope they get just punishments

About the same as I feel about child abuse, or spousal abuse, or elder abuse. They are all crimes committed by cowards. (IMHO)

One of the few things in life that will cause me to go from 0-10 in less than 30secs. For a person to abuse a innocent animal is just beyond belief, here is a living creature that will give you love no matter what and at your most down moments and for you to abuse this trust is so bad. I too am from the country and see farm animals and have been known to make the call and show the officer the way.......
