Yes, how I met my wife. It starts when I was in college. I came home for the summer and I went out with my brother and some friends. A friend of ours brought this cute little girl with him. It turns out that she had just gone through a divorce and had reconnected with him. They were friends when they were kids and he invited her to go out to dinner and then fishing with us. We had a long conversation that night, then went our separate ways. We tried to reconnect, but our mutual friend decided for some unknown reason not to let us get back together. The summer ended and I went back to college and put her out of my mind. I left college that year and returned to my home town. I picked up a decent job at a manufacturing plant and started living life to the fullest. I worked second shift, so I would go to the local Denny's for dinner after work. I became a regular there and on one of those evenings I walked in to a surprise. I was giving a friend a hug when this cute little girl comes running up to me. She's all excited and blurts out, "Is your name ***? Do you remember me? I'm ***!" (and so on.) Well, I did remember her and we sat there talking until the sun came up. We set up a date for the following weekend. Every day after that we bumped into each other again. At the grocery store, at the gas station, at a bar, you get the idea. I guess it was destined for us to be together.

Actually, yes! It's my one and only love story, and this is how it happened: I came to college about a year and a half ago and made some really good friends in my dorm. I had a huge crush on a guy on the first floor who I got to know pretty well. A couple months in he told me he liked me and we started dating soon after that. We dated for about 2 months and then over christmas break (we were separated for three weeks) things kinda fell apart on his end. We separated shortly after coming back to school, but needless to say I still had a crush on him and was pretty heartbroken. He wanted to still be friends, and considering we shared the same group of friends that seemed to be the best course of action. (And I wasn't going to say no to staying close.) Another month and a half goes by, he dates another girl for a couple weeks, and I never stop liking him. Then, on one fateful February night he tells me he realized he made a mistake and that he never should have left me. Looking into his eyes, I can tell he is sincere. I was overjoyed. I accepted his apology, we got back together, and have been dating ever since! (almost 9 months) :)

My husband and I were like that when we first got together. For the first several days we were together constantly. Then things got rough for a while, so we didn't see each other for a few weeks. Then once we ran into each other we have been together ever since then.

I went out with a girl when I was 14 years old who was 12. We were absolutely crazy about each other and we loved being together for the entire summer. We had a mutual "friend" who hooked us up but then she began to lie to us about each other because this "friend" wanted me for herself. We began to fight and be hateful towards each other until we finally broke up and we didn't talk for six years. August of 2007, I find her on Myspace and we agree to meet up and catch up on our lives. We have dinner together and we talk about our mutual "friend" who lied to us and we both finally realized that this other girl was lying to us from the start. We hung out for the next two days and then we jumped into bed together because all those old feelings rushed back into our hearts from years and years ago. We were together for a week, making love, sitting by the beach, and doing what lovers do...but then I had to take a plane to Florida for college. We decided to be together but then she came down to visit me. We got a room together in a hotel by the beach and we had the most wonderful time of my life. We came back to my room at school and we realized that we weren't going to see each other till Thanksgiving which was 2 months away. We both agreed that even though we are madly in love with each other the distance was a real tough thing to deal with. We broke up before she went back home..... I still love her and I plan to see her during my Thanksgiving break but its still kinda hard to leave her again...

I met my husband on a blind date. We hated each other although we did go out on 2 dates just to make sure. Two years go by and we meet again by chance and were married 10 weeks later. It will be 19 years next month. The scoop is we both change for the better over those 2 years and could appreciate what each brought to the relationship.
