  • In order to seriously consider your proposition that I move to a new location I would first need you to make a serious offer. As you cannot commit to employment without promise of movement, I cannot commit to moving without promise of employment. Then again I am a cheeky beggar ;)
  • Though Tinkerbell's answer is more appropriate, I would be seriously thinking "You can seriously consider taking this job and shoving it approximately 70 miles up your--"
  • If they say, "In order to be considered, you must BE WILLING to move," that is something we can discuss. If they want me to move first and then be considered, that would not be a good idea.
  • I'd say I'm going to keep looking.
  • I would not move 70 miles away from my home just to be considered for a job. If I was promised the position, then I might move, but I wouldn't move just to be considered for a job which I might not receive.
