  • I wouldn't sign unless there was something you did to get terminated...otherwise according to the government your job HAS to be there for you when you get back.
  • No.It looks to me as though they want you to terminate so they can hire replacement. By law your job is guaranteed while you are in the military. You have a certain amount of time to reclaim it after you are out. Don't let them BS you. Any trub, try to get as much in writing as you can and send this to your elected representative in DC as well as local newspapers.
  • If you signed up for full time duty, or work in an "at will" state, you can be fired (signing up for full time duty means you are taking another job). If you are a reservist or in the National Guard, don't sign anything. If you are being activated, you now have access to free legal council from the military.
