I absolutely think English grammar as well as other languages should be taught in school. Having a strong set of communication skills will only be beneficial to the individual in all areas of life. Plus, language can be incredibly beautiful and powerful when manipulated. I graduated from high school about four years ago, and as of then, the English department was a joke. It is too difficult and too late to teach a classroom full of students who all have different language placement levels, therefore instruction, particularly reading, should be enforced earlier and more heavily.

Not only that, but DO NOT teach other languages, like Spanish. If you're in this country and can't speak the language, it's up to you to figure out what to do, not me. If you can't speak English to me in the U.S.A., I won't do business with you. That simple.
