I collect coins.. though not rare or collectibles.. I got this philosophy from my Grandad. He said that if you treated coin collecting like a hobby & every coin you found or got in change you put in a tin, in 50 years you would be a millionaire. He proved it. :) he says it taught him to save. I have had a very large tin for 15 years now and every coin I find on the street or in my pockets or in the laundry goes into my tin. It has taught me how to be thrify and save money. I am obsessed.. and I'm sure I'm psychotic! Though I don't know why.. so I haven't been very helpful!
