  • Call your utility company. They send crews to trim around utility lines where I live.
  • As far as I know, you have the right to cut anything that grows over the property line. I do it all the time. Some of my neighbors (the ones who are upset by change) squawk, but there's not a thing they can do. If they don't want me cutting their plants, they either shouldn't plant so close to my property or they should properly maintain their trees/shrubs.
  • im not 100 percent on this but i think if you have to pay for someone to come out and trim it because it poses a hazard then the owners are responsible for the costs
  • If the branches are rubbing against the utility lines you can call them and they will cut them for you.
