I would like to keep it, but I would feel so guilty that I'd make myself try to find who lost it.

First, I guess I'd be rather concerned to find a blotter on my desk. Next, I'd probably ask around. I'd want someone to return my ten bucks if I lost it, so I'd try to do the same for them.

And into the wallet it goes ;).

I would have to find who owned it but if I couldn't I would put it in the xmas party fund!.... but hey I have never worked in an office in my life !...lol
-
if I couldn't find out who left it, I'd keep it. it's only $10! but then, if you asked around, how many people do you think would claim it was theirs?
-
It would be an honesty test. I am overly honest and would try to find the actual person who dropped it.

I'd first wonder why someone was at my desk to forget/leave $10. Then I'd ask if anyone left it, its a small office, I can see and talk/yell at anyone from my desk.
