i prefer to think none regardless of what the odds say. a spider bite in the mouth or throat would be a terrible thing. who has had such a malady. few there are, i suspect.
None. Seriously, the idea that you swallow spiders while you sleep is an incorrect statistic designed to see how easily people believe incorrect statistics.

There aren't many spiders in my house.
I wish this would quit coming up, it freaks me the **** out. I know it's true, but I don't want to be kept up nights cuz of it, I'm gonna have to rig up some kind of mesh muzzle or something. Thanks damnit
I once read a random fact that on average we swallow 8 spiders per year. Also there was one about chocolate bars but I cant remember what it was. :-/ Stupid random facts that are useless.
