  • Extremely active. I have always tried to make my home a place they wanted to and could bring their friends. I have always treated their friends as people, not potential bad influences. I guess I must have succeeded becasue both my sons are grown and living on their own, but I still have, not just good relationships with my sons, but friendships with many of the kids they brought to our home. I am doing the same thing with my daughter.
  • I have always been active. I have two sons who played football and wrestled all through high school and a daughter who played soccer for a few years. I never missed a game. I have tried to stay involved with their friends, maybe too opinionated if I thought they were headed down a curvy road. My oldest son just got married and his 4 best friends from school were there, we all had a great time. They joked with me about how I tried to keep them all out of trouble and clued me in on a few things I missed.
  • Since my "kid" is 41 and lives in Hawaii I guess I'd have to say I'm as active in his life as he wants me to be! :) But when he was younger and growing up I always knew his friends, where he was and enjoyed watching him when he was involved in Little League, basketball leagues, etcetera. Ah, those were the days my friend....:)
  • I hae no kids, but am still one. I am 18 and attending college. My parents let me stay at home, but otherwise treat me as a nuisence. I know that they love me, but I feel a constant tension between us. They are active through the household, but that is it. The pay no attention to my schoolwork, job or friends. I had a disscusion with them a few years ago and they feel that I am to the point where I should make my own descisions. I decided to go to college, make good grades, avoid drugs and to hang out with a good crowd. I suppose that this is becasue they raised me well, but from my point of view, I would like a nosier parent. Just so I know that they still care what I do.
  • My "kids" are 24 and 30. If I'm not callin them, they are calling me. I LOVE my babies.
