because your questions aren't always easy to answer to and other times it's embarassing...

To question is good, to follow blindly is not. Emma, you're well within bounds to ask your questions I would think and yes, everyone has a special interest of their own. I reckon you're getting trashed for actually thinking, which never goes well with those who fall into the second part of my initial statement.

Ask whatever you want. It's your right. I probably won't answer, though, since it's not an area I'm very knowledgeable in.

I think the political climate in the US (and abroad) is extremely charged. People are polarized about the war and it leads to some bad feelings and extreme behavior. Many are very defensive about people putting down the war, especially if they have loved ones fighting in Iraq. I don't know where you live, but it is a touchy subject in the US. That being said, you have a right to ask your questions. They are valid and create discussion. I don't have one particular special interest, but it's great that you do.

I don't have that kind of problem Emma. In fact, I kinda like SOME of your questions.
-
I don't believe the people you refer to have a problem with you asking questions about US foreign policy. I'm sure they have a problem when you ask pointed questions, the wording of which often infer that you are biased and have preconceptions, about US foreign policy, almost to the exclusion of anything else.

I think it is to do with the way you word your questions. They are very obviously anti American, maybe try to word them in a more neutral way?
-
Because you're rude and you obviously don't live here so maybe you should focus your time on other things you know more about.
