If it doesn't get answered and you repeat the question more than likely it will get flagged as a duplicate. So it doesn't do you any good. If you put the question in a good category and just wait, it may get answered. If you want it to appear on the front page again, you could post an answer or some kind of comment, maybe adding more info as an answer to your own question. Other than that, it's a waiting game.
