  • Here's the incident which sparked this question: A friend of mine insists that his house is haunted. I was over there recently to play D&D, and I brought with me a plush Beholder to show to the group for a laugh. Some of the players hadn't arrived yet, so I set the thing down on an empty chair to show them later. A little later, my friend's 5 year old son wanders over, sees the thing on the chair, and asks in a nervous tone: "Daddy, who's that man in the chair over there?". My friend is sitting across the table from the chair and can't see the beholder, so he starts getting real scared - he thought his son could see a ghost that he couldn't. (His son was innocently using the word "man" in the sense of "playing piece"; he'd watched his daddy play before.)
  • No. I don't like jokes played on me so I don't do that to others! :)
