i believe everyone has a different fantasy just like everyone has different tastes, some women, (i think) just like the feel of being over powered in that sense....im guessing lol
-
Maybe it's a rush of some sort to them? It could give them a rush of many hormones that'll kick in which will give that "feeling" inside that maybe they wouldn't get while have heterosexual sex. I guess for the most part you'd have to ask them personally :)

I imagine it has something to do with being out of control. There are many women out there who seem to always have a grip on things, or always feel like they control their environment. The rape fantasy could be a way that they will feel completely out of control. Also, could be very soothing to some women to have someone else be completely in charge. Now, REAL rape is a serious thing, and there is no excuse for it. But fantasy rape could be very pleasurable to some. I just really suggest that it be brought up with the partner before delving into it.

likely but not alwyas were sexually abused.

Evidently, by their own admission, many women/girls do. I think, from what I have heard them say, is that it is a sexual fantasy in which they have the "experience", but are still "blameless". They were not in control. They are still "good girls". It must be remembered that "fantasies" are just that. There is no real desire to have them acted out in reality. Most fantasies are harmless, unless they become obsessive.

For me, it was just a desire for rough sex and for the sensation of giving control of yourself over to another person. However, I'm now involved in a D/s relationship as a submissive and my Dominant scratches that itch for me all the time, so my fantasy there has faded quite a bit. I also think it has something to do with...self-esteem, as strange as that sounds. I think that it's sort of flattering to think about a man being so unable to resist your physical appearance that he just has to take you, here and now. Obviously, that opens up a whole other bag of issues, but...I do think that's part of it.

If I were to hazard a guess at the physiological/neurological/evolutionary root of the phenomenon, I would say it has to do with the hormone testosterone being associated both with aggressive behavior and sex drive. . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testosterone . Also, in our hunter-gatherer past, it was necessary that the gene pool of a tribe be periodically mixed with genes from outside the tribe to prevent problems due to excessive inbreeding. . Perhaps the modern rape fantasy is the great-great-granddaughter of the early human desire to mate with the 'strangers' from the neighboring tribe.

I think there are many different possible reasons for it. In some cases, it could be a sign serious problems, like feeling that they don't deserve to be happy. A person like this could be attracted to abusive relationships. But in most cases I think it's just a harmless fantasy. Some men enjoy fantasizing about being raped, but that seems less common. I think it's social conditioning. Women are told that they should not be lustful. Women are looked down upon for getting pregnant at a young age, not the men who slept with them. A promiscuous man is considered a player, and a promiscuous woman is considered a slut. Therefor, many women try to suppress and deny their sexuality. Suppressing sexuality never works, and for some people it results in bizarre fantasies. A rape fantasy allows someone to experience sex without the guilt of making the choice to have sex. Of course that doesn't mean that women with these fantasies would enjoy being raped in real life. It also may have to do with masochism. Many people, both male and female, are into pain and humiliation. Another reason people might have this fantasy is for emotional release. It's not uncommon for people to act the opposite way in their sex lives than they do with their regular lives. An investment banker who is always aggressive and can never let their guard down may feel the need to be submissive sexually. And an overly passive person might compensate for their helplessness with violent dominating sexual fantasies.

I think it's a genetic mental protection mechanism to help get over the act if you're unfortunate enough to be a victim of this.

i think it depends on the person who is doing the "raping". if i was actually imagining someone whom i don't know or hate, i wouldn't even consider it a fantasy but a nightmare. but if it's someone who you fantasize about..then it's hot. i think it seems like he really really wants you

I have this fantasy and I can say that for me....it's the thought of being wanted so badly that your partner just can't stop himself. I am also that of a control freak.... the powerless ness associated with rape is just as much a turn on as physical touch. it's much like riding a roller coaster. it's a controlled safe invironment in which you know its not actually real, you aren't actually going to get hurt, you know that your life isn't really in danger....but the feeling of being scared and tossed around it's an adrinaline rush. Think the first drop of that roller coaster....it's fast, and hard....the coaster is shaking violently, you are plunging to the gound at 60+ mph, you are screaming, but you know it's just a ride. You arent really crashing to the ground. And when the ride stops you think to yourself..DAMN whatta ride...I'm getting back in line and going again!!!!
