My friend won't let her b/f visit his family alone b/c she says they hardly spend time together and they should all go together. He tells her he just wants some "alone" time with his family. She got offended. Is it just me or doesn't he need time alone?

YOU are correct. He needs time by himself with his family and friends. She needs time by herself with her family and friends. They each need time to be totally alone, too. A relationship is based on trust. It sounds as though she doesn't trust him, and/or is otherwise just too needy. If either of the above are true, she's not ready to be in a relationship. It's gonna go nowhere, fast.

both people in ANY relationship need time by them selves ...away from each other , they need to spend time with their friends and family ...just because your in a relationship does not mean you have to be together 100% of the time after all they were two separate people with their own friends before they were together ... she needs to give him some space for a few hours every now and again and use this time to see her friends .. because if she doesn't she just may find her self alone ...permanently

Most everyone needs alone time with their family. If she feels they don't get enough time together, that's a separate problem, but it won't be solved by accompanying him along every family trip. Your friends needs to get a grip if she gets that easily offended.
